Academic Dermatology Nursing Modules
The dermatology nursing modules have
been developed by
a small
team of multi-professionals who recognised the need to
formalise dermatology nursing education in line with other specialities.
We offer
dermatology nursing courses with a modular structure
which allows the nurse to study towards an award at certificate, diploma and degree level in
Dermatology Nursing.
There is great potential for developing dermatology
services in primary care and it is our belief that this will only be realised
when a team approach to care of patients in primary care is promoted which
recognises the role of nurses (and other health care professionals) in caring
for patients with skin disease.
New and old students are warmly welcomed by
the Academic Dermatology Nursing Team. We look forward to working with
you in a spirit of collaboration, and hope that our combined efforts will
help to raise standards in dermatology nursing still further.
