The dermatology nursing modules have been developed
by a small team who recognised the need to formalise dermatology nursing
education in line with other specialities. We offer a comprehensive dermatology
nursing course with a modular structure which allows the nurse to study towards
an award at diploma or degree level in Dermatology Nursing. It is our hope that this course
will prove as popular with nurses in primary care as it is with Dermatology
nurses in secondary care.
There is great potential for developing dermatology
services in primary care and it is our belief that this will only be realised
when a team approach to care of patient's in primary care is promoted which
recognises the role of nurses (and other health care professionals) in caring
for patients with skin disease.
New and old students are warmly welcomed by the
